I first met Fern at Chicago Animal Care and Control at the beginning of July 2023. Something about her just made me fall in love and I knew I had to see her get out. Thankfully Community Animal Rescue Effort - CARE decided she was worth it and brought her into their rescue at the end of July. She has been waiting since then to find her #foreverfamily. She’s had a couple of trips to Bosly's Backyard where she enjoys doing agility. She spent a couple weeks in foster where she loved sleeping on the couch. I love spending my Sunday mornings hanging out with her, but she is ready to have her own family. Could that be you? She knows some commands, takes treats gently, and leans in for pets. She’s had a couple of leash tests so she could potentially have a dog sibling with the proper introduction. 🐕Dakota: this pint sized girl is on the smaller side. She is not super interested in treats or toys but much prefers attention from her humans. Also, how can you resist those ears, one up one down? 🐕Nadia: This pup is much smaller than she appear and might make a good choice for someone in an apartment. She loves treats and pets, she’s a total love bug. You won’t be able to resist petting that super soft, velvety coat If one of these pups sounds interesting to you come on down to Chicago Animal Care and Control and ask to meet them.
